Where’s the one who glimpses God’s sorrow or tries to grasp the pain He feels?
Even when they’ve heard His calling voice,
they press down on the path that leads away
from God’s mercy, truth, and watchful gaze;
willingly, they sell themselves to Satan.

How then will God act towards the one who stands defiant and dismisses Him?
Know that God’s calls and urgings are followed
by disaster grim and hard to bear.
It punishes not just man’s flesh but his soul.
None can tell what wrath God will unleash
when His plan’s made void and His voice ignored;
wrath that man has never felt or heard.
This is a calamity unique; God’s planned one creation and salvation.
This is the first time, and the last.
No one can feel with his heart
God’s anguished love and fervent desire to save mankind.
